Pulsetto is a device that can reduce stress and anxiety symptoms by stimulating your vagus nerve. The product claims to help you get back “to the natural state of relaxation” in under a few minutes. All you need to do is sit back and relax while the device encourages your body to de-stress.

You can try five stimulation programs that cover stress, sleep, anxiety, burnout, and pain management. When choosing a setting, the mobile application will guide you through the experience to ensure you’re getting the most out of Pulsetto. Alongside the device and app, you get a charging cable and electrode gel for easy stimulation.

There is also a special stress-free program you can purchase with the device. It contains cognitive behavioral therapy tips, advice on getting better sleep, breathing techniques, and meditations for a stress-free lifestyle.

Why Did I Decide to Try Pulsetto?

Dealing with high stress and anxiety levels is not easy. I found myself going around in a circle, trying to beat anxiety once and for all: yoga, journaling apps, breathing exercises, and so much more. That’s when I stumbled upon Pulsetto, a medication-free option that claimed to resolve my issues.

Having this small device at home is easy and convenient, meaning I can use it whenever things become overwhelming. All I need to do is place the device on my neck, close my eyes, and wait for the stimulation to alleviate anxiety in minutes.

I knew that the Pulsetto device could save me hours, even days, of constant stress. That’s when this magical gadget became a part of my daily routine.

How Does Pulsetto Work?

Pulsetto uses vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) to control your central nervous system and the feelings that come with it, such as stress, anxiety, fear, and depression. Stimulating this nerve is supposed to reduce those negative feelings and make you feel calmer within 5–10 minutes.

It is very simple to use since all I have to do is sit back, place the device on my neck, and let my anxious mind and body relax.

On the device, there are two pads that stimulate the vagus nerve in your neck. This process activates your parasympathetic nervous system, which is a network of nerves that relax your body after immense stress. The Pulsetto team also discovered that for over 30 years, medical professionals had used electrical impulses and implants to treat depression and epilepsy.

Regular stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system can also calm your anxiety at night, slow your heart rate, and promote better digestion.

How to Use the Device?

The electrode gel had to be applied to the sides of my neck before using Pulsetto. By sending electrical impulses to the vagus nerve, this gel promotes calm and relaxation.

After applying the gel and placing the device on my neck, I had to pair it with the Pulsetto app via Bluetooth and select the stimulation level and mode.

The app guides you through each mode and intensity. I felt a slight tingling sensation from the application of the gel and the wave of electrical impulses, but it wasn’t anything that made me too uncomfortable. Pulsetto is a device that you have to get used to if you want to get the most health benefits.

Over a period of 20 days, I used the Pulsetto device for about 10 minutes a day. Since the vagus nerve is stimulated during use, I immediately felt the difference. I noticed that I had a more relaxed attitude and was able to handle stress better.

I also watched this YouTube video to gain clear instructions on how to use the Pulsetto device.

What Are the Main Features of Pulsetto?

Pulsetto is a quick way to reduce stress and anxiety without drugs. Many people, including me, would rather use a wearable device than take medicine to feel calmer.

It’s also very light and has multiple stimulation programs and levels. For example, the pain management program relieves headaches in a few minutes, while the anxiety mode helps to reduce paranoid thoughts

Other choices comprise stress, burnout, and sleep, making this product versatile and user-friendly. Alongside these programs, I’ve got a comprehensive sound library engineered only for the Pulsetto app. The frequency harmonics and auditory stimuli help to regulate positive moods, such as pleasure and happiness.

With the device, you can purchase an optional feature called anxietless, which provides daily tasks and educational emails to improve your mental health. Although I haven’t tried it, the Pulsetto team states that stress-relief knowledge can boost your mood within three to four weeks.

In the past, I had trouble falling asleep, but Pulsetto also helped me with that. The quality of my sleep has also improved significantly.

What Are the Benefits of Pulsetto?

After using the Pulsetto device for 20 days, I have noticed multiple benefits. However, I want to point out that my experience may differ from yours because we are all unique.

#1 I noticed a reduction in my anxiety levels

As someone who suffers from anxiety, this device was a huge blessing. I could sit in a quiet area and put the device on to reduce symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, and trembling.

With consistent use, my anxiety became less apparent. I often reached for the device more to maintain this positive mental state. The Pulsetto app also guided me through the entire experience, which made me feel less stressed almost instantly.

#2 I felt a huge impact on my emotional well-being

A huge advantage of this device is that it positively impacts my emotional well-being. I felt more awake, alive, and happy after using the device.

There was no more stress bothering me throughout the week and no more anxious thoughts that overwhelmed me. Being happier enabled me to go outside, perform physical activity, and come home feeling better.

#3 My sleep quality improved

Lower anxiety and stress levels meant I got better sleep. As you probably know, improved sleep quality can positively affect other things in your life, such as your mood, motivation, and energy.

I also found that I could fall asleep easier after using the device. My mind was clear, and I didn’t have any anxious thoughts keeping me awake. After using the sleep setting, it only took 10 minutes to feel my eyes slowly closing. It’s also worth using the vast sound library to relax your brain.

#4 I’ve seen the results after a few uses

I’m an impatient person who prefers to see results quickly rather than wait months for something extraordinary to happen.

This wearable device uses cutting-edge science, so I noticed results after a few uses. The vagus nerve and parasympathetic nervous system are directly targeted, so I felt much better all week.

What Are the Downsides of Pulsetto?

With any product on the market today, there are bound to be some drawbacks. It’s better to be open about them to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. Some of these may be subjective, but I wanted to be honest about my experience with the Pulsetto device.

#1 I felt discomfort at first

I felt some discomfort when I put the device on my neck and activated the electrical impulses.

I had to get used to this sensation, but it can scare off beginners. In fact, I had to do a Google search to find out if it’s normal or if the device is broken.

There is no pain or extreme discomfort, and you can adjust the stimulation levels, but it did feel tingling and warm.

#2 I had to learn how to use it

This product comes with a manual, but the instructions may seem confusing at first, as there are about 15 steps to follow to get things set up.

Although Pulsetto took some getting used to, it’s not complicated to use in the long run. You can also find tutorials in the settings tab of the app. Pulseeto also has its own YouTube channel with tutorials and other information.

#3 The device is quite expensive

One downside to Pulsetto is the price tag. Unfortunately, it is an expensive product that people may not feel comfortable purchasing. I felt the same way until I took one for the team and tried the product.

The price reflects the quality, and it is a premium-class device that has done wonders for my mental health. You can also try Pulsetto for 21 days risk-free and contact the team at [email protected] to request a refund if you feel that the product is not for you.

What Is the Price of Pulsetto?

A one-time payment for the device is $239. You get lifetime access and five expert programs in the free app. This option is for people who want to test the device without additional features.

On the other hand, the device and anxietless program is $249. With an extra $10, you get educational emails, stress-related tips, progress trackers, and a 21-day free trial of the anxietless subscription.

For a gel top-up, it costs around $9.99.

Why is it so expensive?

Pulsetto is expensive because it has many features and cutting-edge technology that aims to target your parasympathetic nervous system. The technology used to create Pulsetto was developed by a team of medical professionals and designers with the goal of creating a device that would be easy to use and highly effective.

If you aren’t satisfied with the device, you can request a refund within 21 days. There is also free shipping and a money-back guarantee to help you feel more secure with your purchase.

Here are some ways I tested Pulsetto:

Quality 8/10

Pulsetto is a high-quality device that does what it says – reduces stress and anxiety. The small device is compact and easy to use, meaning you don’t have to spend ages setting it up.

You get what you pay for in terms of the device, app, and anxiety-relief program, making it suitable for anyone who wants to improve their overall well-being.

This wearable device is very effective at improving your mental health. For me, it lowered my heart rate to encourage relaxation.

Being a vagus nerve stimulator, it will also calm down your body after a stressful situation. There are many studies and scientific evidence that prove these devices can boost your mood.

Price 7/10

A downside to my test was the price point. I understand that not everyone can afford to buy a device like this and wait for it to arrive. However, my positive experience with Pulsetto made the price worth it.

Even if you don’t like the product, you can request a refund. This brand only wants people to take care of their mental health in a safe and natural way.

Brand reputation 9/10

I will only buy products from a trusted brand, as I know they care more about customers than money. Pulsetto wants to help customers with their mental health, even if the device makes a small difference in their daily lives. They believe that the device can “help a lot of people feel better” in terms of everyday stressors such as work and the lack of sleep.

A Word From Our MD

The vagus nerve is a complex cranial nerve that controls your immune system, digestion, and heart function. It also plays a huge role in your daily moods and how you respond to constant stress. By stimulating this nerve, you could say goodbye to anxiety and related effects like headaches and chest pain.

While using a stimulation device is safe and natural, you should still build healthy habits. Some habits include staying physically active, communicating your feelings with others, and practicing mindfulness to clear negative thoughts.

If you feel like your thoughts are too overwhelming, speak to your doctor. A medical professional can provide the best treatment or refer you to a suitable therapist.

Conclusion

Overall, the vagus nerve stimulator has proven to be a very positive experience for me. It has made a significant difference to my overall well-being and quality of life. By gently stimulating the vagus nerve, Pulsetto has unlocked a range of therapeutic benefits that have positively impacted my life.

Whether it’s used for managing chronic pain, relieving anxiety, or enhancing sleep patterns, Pulsetto might surprise you. However, if you are suffering from anxiety and depression and need more guidance, speak to a medical professional.
